The NAA is hosting a lecture series as part of the RIBA’s Sustainable Autumn series, ‘People, Place, Planet’ around the theme of ‘Sustainable Materials’.

Alex Honey from Enhabit, who design low energy buildings and retrofits, will discuss materials in the context of Passivhaus. Boris Johnson told the General Assembly of the United Nations in September 2020, that a “green industrial revolution would create hundreds of thousands of jobs” and that the UK, “would never be lagging on lagging.”
Alex is going to discuss materials in the context of Passivhaus looking at the importance of how all of the materials are used together and the advantages and disadvantages of various materials.
